Introducing the New Bullet Stealth Vent

Bullet Products is always trying to improve product quality and customer service. We are happy to announce a new addition to our product selection. Bullet Products has added the new bullet off ridge vent. Go to the “Products” page.

The Bullet Stealth Vent is a newly patented product, designed to aesthetically replace old ridge vents at a competitive price. Next, Bullet Off Ridge Vents are made from a heavy-duty polypropylene carbonate material. Bullet Off Ridge Vents are to vent attics through the roof. Our vents have one hundred percent UV protection. Furthermore, the vents are ideal for all types of shingle and concrete/clay roofing. Additionally, all our vents come with a rodent screen built-in at the top. Therefore this prevents rodents, birds, and other critters from entering the vent. As well, the screen prevents unwanted debris from entering the vent. Also, each vent has a built-in cricket for enhanced water flow. Finally, there is no need to paint since it comes in many colors to match virtually any roof application.

The Bullet Off Ridge Vent

An Effective Off Ridge Vent

The vents come in both a low and high profile to accommodate various applications. The low profile vent works on shingle and metal roofs, while the high profile vents are designed for tile roof applications. We encourage you to look at this alternative to metal, which is much more flimsy and not as visually appealing. This is the full size 39″ version. A smaller version will follow in the next few weeks, so look for that to be available soon.

When homeowners think about protecting their house, they often focus on shingles, siding, or insulation. One critical component that’s frequently overlooked is roof ventilation. Proper roof ventilation plays a major role in maintaining comfort, protecting your roof system, and improving energy efficiency year-round. Here’s why it matters—and what can happen if it’s ignored. What Is Roof Ventilation? Roof ventilation is the system that allows air to flow into and out of your attic or roof space. Typically, this is achieved through a balanced combination of intake vents (often located at the eaves or soffits) and exhaust vents (placed near the roof ridge or upper sections of the roof). The goal is simple: Bring in cooler, fresh air Push out hot, moist, stagnant air When this airflow works correctly, your home stays healthier and more efficient. Why Roof Ventilation Is So Important Regulates Temperature Without proper ventilation, hot air can become trapped in your attic—especially during summer. Attic temperatures can soar well above outdoor levels, forcing your air conditioning system to work harder. Proper ventilation helps release excess heat, keeping your home cooler and reducing energy strain. Reduces Moisture Buildup Everyday activities like cooking, showering, and laundry generate moisture. If that moisture rises into the attic and has nowhere to escape, it can lead to: Mold and mildew growth Wood rot Damaged insulation Extends Roof Lifespan Excess heat and moisture are two of the biggest enemies of roofing materials. Poor ventilation can cause shingles to: Warp or curl Crack prematurely Lose protective granules Improved Energy Efficiency A well-ventilated attic reduces the load on heating and cooling systems. In summer, it prevents heat buildup; in winter, it helps maintain consistent attic temperatures.
